I bought the Qlife Racer to commute to work. So far it's working well. I added a rear cargo rack. Assembly took a few hours. I had the bike assembled in less than an hour but adjusting the disc brakes was tricky. I watched a few videos on YouTube to figure it out. All the tools needed to assemble are included. Before I started to put the bike together I plugged in the battery to charge.
The first charge took about 3 hours and since then a full charge takes about 5 hours. There is a little switch on the battery that needs to be on to turn on power. Then press the little circle button on control panel on handlebars.
There a 5 speed modes. Press the + (plus) symbol to increase the number.
When the bike is turned on its a zero so you need to hit the plus button to get the bike to work.
To turn on the front light press and hold the + button.
I've been pretty much using throttle only.
The top speed for me is around 20 miles per hour in the highest mode of 5. I mostly ride in mode 3 or 5. Top speed in mode 3 is 16 miles per hour.
My trip to work is 10 miles round trip and using throttle only I still have a little power left when I get home.
The battery loses power faster if at the fastest setting so I try to keep it at 3.
In setting 2 it goes 13 miles per hour and I'll set it at 2 if I only have one bar left on the battery.
There are 5 bars on battery indicating how much power is left.
I would probably pedal more but this bike is a small size frame and it's difficult to use like a regular bike. The chart says this bike fits riders up to 6'3" tall but if you are 6'3" tall this bike would be difficult to ride. It would be easier to ride if the seat post was longer and the handlebars were riser type, taller or higher handlebars. The handlebars on the bike now are pretty low.
I may modify it with taller handlebars but the wiring connected to handlebars doesn't have much extra length on wires.
For now the bike is OK because I'm just using throttle and I'm not really using the pedals.
I changed the inner tubes to anti flat/slime brand inner tubes.
The wheels are difficult to take on and off because when I do I have to adjust the disc brakes again so it's easier to put in better inner tubes for less chances of flats.
The inner tube size on the Qlife racer I got is 26" X 2.1".
Slime brand has inner tubes available on Amazon that fit.
For the rear cargo rack I ordered one that clamps on to the seat post and also clamps on to bike frame because there are no pre drilled holes near base of seat post.
This bike arrived several days early which was great. It was supposed to take a week to arrive and I got it in 4 days.
When I show this bike to people they can't believe it only cost $400.
All in all its a great little bike and on throttle only with no pedaling it's fun to ride.

Pros: easy assembly, packed well, good acceleration, reasonable battery life, comfortable ride.
Cons: 2 day charge of daily riding. Batter mount is plastic, maybe less durable. Headlight is not that bright and provides poor visibility at night. Suspension is somewhat harsh. Tires lack good traction.
I use this as a daily commuter to & from work averaing 8 miles a day in an urban environment. I also use for recreational riding as well. The pedal assist takes some acclimating as it takes off rather quickly. Ride is fine although harsher than my dual Suspension bike. Tires have very poor traction on wet surfaces, gravel and trails. Brakes work well and provide good stopping power. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the bike and hope the durability exceeds my expectations.

I bought this bike for my boyfriend and he loves it. He uses it to commute to work. The bike goes almost 24mph on flat ground, has no problem on hills, and the Cruze control setting is awesome. It arrived very quickly as well. This is actually the second one of this exact bike we’ve purchased because the first one got stolen. He said he wanted the same bike because he liked it so much. Great value for what we paid. It does exactly what it needs to. The photo does not include the battery as we had it on the charger at the moment. It’s so easy to put these bikes together and hit the road. Highly recommend.

The bike came with the back rim a bit bent and I am in the process of getting the problem fixed with the seller, but we are trying to send links to each other for videos and other instructions that they are sending me, but the links aren't opening. It's already been almost two weeks and the problem hasn't been resolved also the front wheel popped on me and for some reason the battery life isn't really lasting the miles that was told to me it would so so far I am writing a one-star review until the company fixes my issue then I will change my review.

Update: the company has told me they are sending a replacement back rim so so far they have been very good with answering my messages promptly it's taken a while but at least they are fixing the issue. I will post an update again once I receive my replacement wheel.

Update: they have shipped me a new wheel they have been very good with answering my messages and they have fixed my issue.

Update: well my bike was stolen which sucks but my brother bought me another bike from you guys he got me the orange one. At least the front and back rim are straight but I had to take it to the bike shop to adjust the gears and the breaks I really recommend you do this either yourself if you know what you are doing or like me take it to a shop. I spent 20$ dollars on adjusting the gears. The break's he did it for free because they weren't too bad but it normally costs 20$ dollars also and if you want to true your rims it cost 20$ dollars each also. With 80$ dollars your good. Luckily I only was charged for the gear adjustment.

I first bought an e-bike (a different brand) with two seats so that we could ride together. He liked it so much I started training him how to drive it in the street and parks where there were little to no car activity. That bike is too heavy and too powerful. Also every time I let him drive people were paying attention as he looks like a child driving a big e-bike. People obviously have real concerns, understandably, as do I. But I believe in allowing with proper education, training, and etiquette.

We did lots of safety training on my bike and around traffic to program into his head that he’s practicing safe driving habits. Made him watch training videos as well as see examples of reckless teen drivers reported in local news and how they are impacting locals.

He continued to ask if he can take it on his own and it’s too much for him and not legal for kids. So we found this one which seems to be good.

The bike looks like a simple mountain bike, it functions without pedal assist and it does not attract attention, concerned people or theft.

The seat brought down to lowest level without the accessories works great. I don’t like that the brakes feel super stiff to activate. My brakes feel way nicer and smoother. I like that the speed is capped at 22 which is plenty fast… still too fast but better than my e-bike which is definitely too fast.

Price and terms of purchase. The price overall is good but still a lot of money, made him pay for part, pull his grades up, grandma helped with some, and spend more time outdoors exploring than on tech and couch.

He will grow quickly in the next couple of years so I think this will suffice.

For now we ride together until we have had enough street training. But the idea is to let him loose with instilled safety and accountability mindset.

I had owned this Qlife bike (my first eBike) for three days, and have only ridden it the first of the three days, but so far I am very impressed. The bike seems to be solidly constructed and seems very well and thoughtfully designed. The first day I owned this bike my wife and I took turns riding and logged six miles on relatively flat asphalt pavement while using throttle-only mode. On my first trip around the 1/2 mile loop I hit 21 mph (subsequent trips seemed to top out at 20.3 mph) carrying my 183-lbs.. My wife rode at a more sensible 13.2 mph. Together, our six miles of riding depleted about 1/4 of the battery (stopping and starting depletes the battery faster per the instruction manual). Twice I reached out to the seller with questions and he replied very timely (within 24 hours). The ride is very comfortable (with the front suspension locked in my case with tire pressure set at 49.5 psi. The manual recommends 40-65 psi). Assembly is relatively simple, straightforward and intuitive. Various pros and cons: the instruction manual appears that it could benefit with updating. It references a link to a You-Tube assembly video. Following the link leads to a page with no content. I Googled "Qlife bike assembly" and found the helpful video. The manual references turning the right (blue) front fork switch to lock out suspension travel (useful on road when pedaling). Mine was too tight and I could not move it. There is a switch on the left-side of the fork which the manual does not address. I moved the switch which seemed to allow me to lock out the suspension with the right switch. (picture attached). Some reviewers mentioned difficulty installing the front wheel/tire. I too had difficulty. In my case, the problem was that the front brake caliper was tightened shut and so could not be fitted on the front brake disk. Again, the manual does not address this, but there is a silver hex-head screw on the back (wheel side) of the brake caliper. I loosened this to allow the brake pads to separate so that the caliper would fit over the brake disk. I then re-tightened the screw just enough so that there was minimal brake rubbing as I turned the front wheel by hand. (picture attached). The only unresolved issue that I have is that I have been unable to properly select a gear that does not result in constant slippage. I will need to Google to determine where the 21-speed Shimano gear system can be adjusted to prevent slippage. In conclusion I am extremely happy, so far, with this purchase. Initially, this seems to be a great value. I hope to be able to purchase an additional battery to extend the range. But, battery compatibility and cost are unknowns at this point. I like the bike so much that I ordered a second (for my wife). If interested ( if you are shopping for a bike rack for your vehicle) the unscientifically-measured ( I stood on a bathroom floor-scale while holding the bike) weight of the bike ( including battery) is 51-lbs. The battery weight alone is 4.2-lbs.
