Truly a first world complaint but it's working as it should and while it is not quick to heat up and dispense, it is hotter than my previous Keurig Essentials duo that died.
Also, as a big cup drinker, the large cup size button does not fill 12 ounces, so I hit the button for 1 large cup and 1 small cup to fill my morning mug. It doesn't come with a thing to use your own coffee, just an FYI.
Not worth it. Lasted about 3weeks n the broke.
Would not purchase again.
Coffee is fine and I used spring water or purified anyway but will write the company to make sure.
I do think I’m going to get the $17 water filtering system that is sold separately because that will make the coffee taste even better and prevent extra calcium into the machine which would require more frequent descaling. On this machine, there is a “descale” button that lights up when it’s time to descale so you don’t have to keep track of the due date if you don’t want to do that.
I did notice that the area of the coffee machine that you lift up and down to put your k-cups in, is less sturdy than other keurig coffee machines I have used. It feels like a light plastic material and not a sturdy metal type material. So you must be careful opening and shutting the “mouthpiece” of this machine. You shouldn’t use a lot of force to open and shut it. Instead, be gentle. This is the only reason I’m scoring this coffee machine with 4 stars instead of 5 stars. It’s still an excellent machine.
